Description Steven Adeff 2004-08-20 14:02:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

When selecting multiple files in more than one column a "square" selection is made and not an alphanumeric ordering selection. So say I am in list view and I want to select all the files starting with A and B, so I select the first A file and the last B file, instead of getting all the files in between I get a square box of selections between the two points in space and not by their list order.

Confirmed here in kde 3.5.1/debian testing. But I guess
Steven meant that this happen when selecting files with keyboard, as I find selecting a square with the mouse is ok.
