Version: unknown (using KDE 3.2.92 (3.3 beta2), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7 After maximizing a window it cannot be restored any more. This happens with all windows (konqueror, xterm) and with dialogs too. Happened just after upgrading to kde 3.3b2 (no problem with alpha 1) $ kde-config --version Qt: 3.3.2 KDE: 3.2.92 (3.3 beta2) Tested with glow and keramik. TIA
Is it really so much work to checks the list of possible duplicates offered while reporting new bugs and spot that 'Cannot unmaximize windows anymore' there :( ? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 85562 ***

Sorry for the trouble. Just a suggestion: Perhaps the bug search should return by default the most recent bug reports first (if possible). <<V13>>
Look through this list: http://bugs.kde.org/simple_search.cgi?id=kwin+maximized%20windows%20cannot%20be%20restored&maxage=365 Does this list look similiar to the list of bugs that the wizard gave you as possible duplicates?
