Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc-3.3.3 -mcpu=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe
OS:                Linux

When downloading (and sending too, I think) email, kmail never times out if there is a problem, and so mail is not checked for the next interval.

The program does not crash, and the download can be aborted by clicking on the "x" icon in the bottom right.

It looks to me like the bug is the same.
