Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages For someone who regularily uses bugs.kde.org for different products, I wish it would be more "personalized". What I mean is that it could remember what my system setup I have (and obviously present this to me and ask for confirmation, since I do upgrade versions once in a while, and might even change distrib - but _most_ of the time, it's the same), also, it should remember all the applications that I have ever filed bugs against and list them in the application chooser (eg I often file bugs against akregator, and I always have to search for the application, because it is not a main part of kde).
use the application's "report bug" dialog - it got all the informations
And when the "application" doesn't exist? Like for typos found in KDE Help Center texts. /rob
I think, this feature is possible by storing more information about the user in the database and give them back while he starts a bugreport. I also had now some bugs for the kicker and kdesktop in KDE 4.0.1 I think, this isn't a big deal, after implementing it once, because the userdatabase has also stored some useful informations now and the database has to be connected now too by commiting a page.
This would be a much welcome feature. Currently, there are too many redundant steps to filing a bug. Actually, I think that this is a dupe but I cannot find the other bug that I had seen on this subject.
this could probably be done as a bugzilla extension

Basically the reasoning I gave in the other bugreport applies here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 62765 ***
