Description Artemio 2004-06-03 12:30:09 UTC
Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3.2
OS: Linux

It would be very, very nice if one would be able not to append "--" before the signature. The auto-appending -- doesn't let the users write their original-looking signatures ;-)

BTW, KMail is the best mail client I have ever used (well, I only used KMail though, others are simple unusable ;-)). KMail is very intuitive and has all the features I need, except for this one ;-)

I know that this was (or is) a standard for a signature, but I think it should be configurable. For example, I want to have a signature like this:

__________________
Artemio

But it will result in:

--
__________________
Artemio

Which looks ugly.

A composer option like "pre-append -- to signatures" would be so great to have ;-)

Good luck!
