Description David P James 2004-04-20 22:43:53 UTC
Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-686

I'm not sure if this counts as a bug or a wishlist, but any attempt to put the "Use Stylesheet" widget anywhere but the khtmlpart of the main toolbar fails (it simply doesn't show up when applied). The same goes for items like Print Frame and Find.

I would like to move such items to the Extra toolbar or the Document Relations toolbar (in CVS) since they're all similar. Either that or the ability to move the khtmlpart to some other toolbar. On a related note, the Location bar can only be on one toolbar at a time (I once tried to make a "browsing" profile based on the main toolbar and a "file manager" profile based on the location toolbar but couldn't use the location bar in two places at once, even though only one of the toolbars would be visible at any given time).

I can confirm the "Use stylesheet" issue with KDE 3.5.4

The KHTML part is what provides the "use stylesheet" action, so that is why it is only available to be put in the khtmlpart portion of the main toolbar.

Changing this requires changes in the way kparts with xmlgui work.

Moving this to wishlist status, and switching the product to kdelibs.
