Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: GCC 3.3.2 OS: Linux I would like to have the new 'Crystal SVG 1.0' iconset by Everaldo as default in KDE 3.2.2 (instead of some beta version as default in KDE 3.2.1). I'm pretty sure that it will get updated anyway, just wanted to make sure.
Aren't the icons current? I think it's just that the string with "beta" was not updated,
Yes. We should definitly change this to 1.0 I will change this after checking with Everaldo.
I downloaded the latest version found on 'everaldo.com' and installed those. I *think* I noticed a chance after changing iconsets. I can't confirm this because I deleted the "beta ones" afterwards, but I believe the new KOffice icons weren't there. Furthermore, after changing iconsets I'm missing a couple of icons in the "K menu" as well as in 'KDE Control Center'. Thus I think the two sets must have been different in some aspects.
Is this fixed?
CVS commit by binner: Don't
I have downloaded the "Cystal SVG 1.0" icon set from http://linuxcult.com/forum/crystal/Crystal_SVG.tar.gz and it definately has extra icons not in kdebase-3.3.1-4.1 (from Fedora Core 3). The extra icon that I personally required was vmware.png, but it has alot of extras (e.g. from the top of the 64x64 - aim.png, aktion.png, antivirus.png, artsbuilder.png, browser.png). I also noted that some of icons looked different (eg gimp.png, samba.png)
Is anyone maintaining the "artwork" product? There are only two bugs in the product (both about updating the Crystal icons), but they have both been around for a year or more :(

a small python script showed me that there are 2065 icons from crystal svg 1.0 that are not in kde and 701 icons that changed
