Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, (testing/unstable)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040214 (prerelease) (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.2 After copying the menu link for kpat to the desktop running kpat blocks kwin. The icons disappear and the right click menu doesn't work. After closing kpat a dialog pops up saying: Sorry - Kdesktop KDEInit could not launch '/usr/games/kpat' but everything else works fine BTW I'm using kde3.2.0 from Debian/Experimental
What's in your kpat.desktop file? I think the X-DCOP-ServiceType is wrong.
X-DCOP-ServiceType=Multi It's the kpat.desktop from the kmenu.

I erased ~/.local and searched ~/.kde and could not find any other kpat.desktop files. It works fine if I run it from the K Menu but after i copy the file from the menu to the desktop and click on it kpat runs but freezes the desktop. RMB doesn't work, no icons things like that.
