Version: 3.0.0rc1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: RedHat RPMs Compiler: gcc 3.2.2 OS: Linux I tried to reconfigure some of the toolbars which led to mostly unpredictable results. Suddenly some icons were present twice. The new ones often didn't appear at all. It's simply not working! Greetings, Didi
Thanks for reporting.
This one more or less reopens bug 57784 Please provide more information otherwise we canot fix it.
O.K. Here come the detailed instructions: I created a custom project with custom makefiles. Then I realised that there's no execute, build, build-target or compile-file buttons in the toolbars, so I tried to add them. I used "Settings->Configure Toolbars" and tried to add "Execute Program" to the Build Toolbar. When I pressed "Apply" the Execute button didn't appear in the Build-Toolbar. But the Main-Toolbar gets screwed up: I then had two buttons for: Save, Save As, Print, Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Find, Increase Font Size and Decrease Font Size. Then I exited kdevelop which caused the following assertion to fail: ASSERT: "part && parent" in partwidget.cpp (41) When I restart kdevelop the toolbars return to normal (without the button I wanted to add). Greetings, Dietrich
