Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I'm getting sick of spam IM's and would like the following solution to be implemented, which would work similar to TMDA email whitelisting: When you get an IM from a person not in your buddy list, kopete 'holds' this IM from being displayed, and then replys to the person: You're not in XXXX's buddy list. To prevent spam please cut and paste the following as your reply, and your IM will be released. The message ends with a random string. The above message should also be randomized to deter bot parsing. Once the person replys with the auth code, the orginal IM is delivered.
