Description Arent 2003-11-12 17:57:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

When right-clicking on links (URLs) in an email body, the context menu should look exactly the same as when right-clicking on links in the Konqueror web browser. There is no reason why KMail should handle links differently.

In particular, I'd like to at least see an "Open with" option. I have the Gimp set as the default app for .jpg files, but I usually don't want to open links to pictures with the Gimp while using kmail, I just want to view them.

Having completely the same context menu doesn't make much sense since I see multiple entries in Konqueror's context menu which don't make much sense in KMail, e.g. the first two "Open in New Window", "Open in New Tab". Moreover, "Preview In" is highly Konqueror specific. "Actions"? "Compress"???

I only see "Open With ->" as useful option which is missing.

Agreed.

Download with KGet too I think.

Marking this as a duplicate of bug 107565 (which is about "Open With"), as no other actions seems to be really needed.
