Description Sean Chittenden 2003-09-11 23:34:26 UTC
Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 [FreeBSD] Thread model: posix
OS: FreeBSD

See subject, it's basically that simple. Load xmms (noatun can't handle large play lists well), which plays through esd, which pipes sound to artsd. This works fine and I get other sounds from KDE, but once I close xmms, artsd cores and leaves this backtrace. I have to manually restart artsd to get sound back.

Oops, sorry
Comment 3 Matt Rogers 2008-11-19 23:37:27 UTC
Arts is no longer developed and has been unmaintained for quite some time - more than 2 years. With phonon as the replacement for arts in KDE4, we're closing out all the arts bugs in Bugzilla since there is no chance of them being fixed.

Thanks
