Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 [FreeBSD] OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 5.1-CURRENT I was using KDE with Ukrainian localization for years. Recently I added another monitor to my setup and now have to screens on my X-display: :0.0 and :0.1 KDE has duly created the new ~/Desktop1 directory for my second desktop and most of the applications started on the secondary desktop use Ukrainian as expected. However, the desktop's only icon -- the automaticly created trash bin* -- is named in English (``Trash'' instead of ``Smitnyk''), and all of kpanel prompts and desktop's popup menus are also in English. The primary desktop (on :0.0) is still using Ukrainian as expected. *) Is there really a need for a trash-can on each desktop? Items can be dragged to the primary desktop's trash can, can't they? I tried to delete the second one manually, but it is recreated on every restart...

how is this a kicker issue, exactly? seeing as how both kdesktop and kicker were affected, this is an i18n issue if anything. reassigning to i18n where people there can deal with it (e.g. close it as an INVALID if its an X config issue, for instance)
Bug #65858 is perhaps not older but it is in the right bug category. So marking this bug as duplicate. Have a nice day! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 65858 ***
