Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs I need the ability to specify a subnet in the proxy exceptions list. For example I would like to be able to add an entry like 10.51.30.1/24 as is allowed in mozilla in order to specify that addresses on 10.51.30.* should not go through the proxy. Currently it seems I would have to add every address on the subnet individually in order to accomplish this.

10.1.2.0/24 does not work either nor does 10.1.2.0 nor does 10.1.2

However, the general response to this has always been for people that have such needs to create and use a PAC file for their proxy needs. That way, you can exclude whatever you desire to exclude including

Fixed for KDE 4.8. See http://commits.kde.org/kde-baseapps/f90f318f2162df18a08b889d24ae8bbeab3b834c
