Description pan shi zhu 2009-12-03 09:41:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In System Settings | Network Settings | Proxy | Manually Proxy Configuration I can set proxy exceptions.

When I set the proxy exception in CIDR notation such as 172.16.0.0/16 , it doesn't work. the ip address range 172.16.*.* still get through proxy.

Set the exception to 172.0.*.* fails, becasue the dialog saids it to be invalid format.

Since 172.16.0.0/16 is accepted as valid format, it should be supported.

Issue still exists in KDE-4.4

It'd sure be nice to not have to enter each individual host in the exception list. I manage a rather large network and my exception list is getting huge :)

Hello,

I have the same problem, impossible to use rules as 172.16.0.0/16 or 172.16.0.0/255.255.0.0. Always going through proxy server. It is necessary to apply rules for each IP.

Regards,
