I have many mailing lists, where the messages are organized by threads. Sorry, the bugs page has reformatted my page, rendering everything unreadable. Now I am going to replace all spaces with hyphens (-). Kmail currently displays a thread like that: Hello! How are you! This is the title.-------------------me ---Re: Hello! How are you! This is the title.------------jack ------Re: Hello! How are you! This is the title.---------frank ---Re: Hello! How are you! This is the title.------------frank ------Re: Hello! How are you! How are you! This is the title.------frank ---Re: Hello! How are you! This is the title.------------john -------- It would be very useful to have something like agent or Xnews: ------ Hello! How are you! This is the title.-------------------me ---jack ------frank ---frank ------john ------me ---------Changed topic. was: Re Hello--------------------jack ------------josh ------------marion ---------frank ---john ------------------- This latter layout: 1) is much less redundant. You can focus on important information leaving out useless repetitions. 2) allows to quickly locate the replies to your posts.
Cool, but perhaps make it optional?
This has been the default in Forte Agent for years. Also Xnews uses it.
