Description S Nicolas 2003-04-03 16:15:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-3.2
OS: Linux

Hello all,

First of all thanks very much for this damn great email client.
Kmail is really very very stable and convenient.

I use kmail with spamassassin to filter my spams (as many people do it, I presume) but then kmail gets nearly unusable :
When kmail sends the new mails to spamassassin, it waits for spamassassin to finish ! and in the meanwhile, the kmail ui is really frozen. It means that I can't neither check my old received mails nor compose new mails because all the kmail components are frozen...

Can someone add some code to run the "receive mails/filter mail" code in another thread than the one that runs the GUI please ?

Thanks in advance,
  Steff
