Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Unspecified Older versions of Konqueror (not sure if 1.0 or 2.0) allowed to edit the name/value of an cookie using Preferences/Configure/Cookies/Management. Current versions still have the edit boxes there, but they are read-only now. I was using that feature a lot while developing web-applications, to check how the system reacts to forged cookies and such. It was really great for debugging (saved me a lot of handwritten http requests with telnet) so it would be really great to get that feature back. Thanks
Hello, As the co-author and maintainer of that module I can tell you that we never had that capability. Indeed the read-only appearance of the edit boxes have changed, for the same reason you were confused by them :), but they have always been read-only. Anyways, I'll leave this open and put it on my TODO list, but it is going to have a very low priority, sorry... Regards, Dawit A.

This feature will be also very useful for Penetration Testing. Please, consider to raise its priority. :) Good work. Best regards.
I recently shifted from firefox to konqueror to firefox and this is one of the things i'm missing the most... Being able to edit cookies is something that is very useful, I really think you should have that feature! Cheers!
