Description chris-kde 2003-02-04 06:12:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

Now that there's a nice tree showing the attachments, it would be nice to be able to do the same things with them that you can when they're displayed inline:
My particular gripe is that I can't drag them onto the desktop, a directory or another message.
But other nice things would be to be able to open them and view their properties.
This plus the other feature request of multiple selection would be great, then I could for example drap a whole heap of attachments in one go to a new email.

Hello,

has this feature wish been considered yet? I am using KMail 1.7.1 (KDE 3.3.1) and I would like to be able to drag mails (message/rfc822 attachments) from a mail to a mail folder, ie. extract attached mails.

Thank you!

Yes, it seems that it's now fixed (as of KDE 4.2 beta2 at least)

Confirmed working in kmail 4.2 (as per comment #8) and trunk.
