Hello all,

it could be cool to be able to drag a url to a tab so that it's open in the target tab.
For example, you have two tabs open.
You are in the first one and brows a web page.
you take a url in the tab (drag) and place your mouse above tab two.
After a few seconds, the tab activates.
If you drop the url INSIDE the tab PANE you drop its content (for example to copy it in a folder)
If you drop the url ON the tab BUTTON, the tab loads the url.
(please not that this suggestion offers solution for the other wish about tabs and DnD)

Thanks for all this job, kde is really pretty darm good

 Steff

Subject: Re: drag and drop url to tab

Sorry but this is not really a duplicate.
Look in details at my proposal please and you will see that my suggestion is
BROADER than the problem submitted in 53029.
I think my solution solves a broader problem.

As you want.
 Steff

Your bug report number is now mentioned in the other bug report (which after all
was filed to the correct component) and can be considered when implementing
"drag and drop url to tab".
