Version:           3.1.0 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC5))
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-19.7.x

I wish for Konqueror (as file manager) to support creation of  symlinks as in 
$ ln -s <target> <link>.
Maybe by adding yet another entry to the 3rd mouse button "Create New" menu similar to the already existing "Link to Location (URL)" entry.
