STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open 4K/8K videos.
2. Skim through them by holding the right arrow (5 seconds fast foward).

OBSERVED RESULT
Initially each key press is instantaneous, then sometime later it takes about half a second.
And it's still slower even if you close and open the video again and skim through the same part.

EXPECTED RESULT
The performance should remain the same.
