Description Herman Viaene 2025-06-19 12:49:42 UTC
Scrolling the mousewheel in a desktop has no effect, scrolling in the panel in the 4 desktops area lets me scroll thru the 4 virtual desktops

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure plasma to have 4 virtual desktops in 2 rows
2. Scroll the mousewheel in the desktop area

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

I applied the solution foujnd in bug 419867 Comment 65, but no change in this behavior.

Are you using X11? If so, this is likely Bug 492920.
Comment 2 Herman Viaene 2025-06-20 07:57:33 UTC
Yes, X11
Comment 3 Herman Viaene 2025-06-20 08:42:31 UTC
Bug 492920 let me suppose wayland is OK. Loggedd out of plasma session, logged in with plasma wayland selected. No improvement, exactly same behavior.
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2025-08-19 23:08:08 UTC
It works for me on Wayland. If it doesn't work for you, it's probably a local configuration issue, like maybe you don't actually have the "Vertical-Scroll" action hooked up in the desktop configuration window's "Mouse Actions" page. Can you check that?
Comment 5 Herman Viaene 2025-08-20 08:24:32 UTC
Indee, that solves the problem
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2025-08-20 13:58:10 UTC
Great!
