I was trying to use it as a main PDF reader at conference. It's pretty common that presenters come to techs before their stage time and make sure all their slides are correct. So did happen, a presenter came scrolled his slides to the end, and next time I opened the pdf with Okular it opened from the last slide. So I asked maybe to have it optional. There might be people who love this. But I'm surprised being first who asks this.
