It just crossed my mind to try it on Wayland but it's the same.

I moved the location bar above the tabs but it seems it's bigger than usual and that's why the lines are missing:

Edited the title for now it's obvious what the reason for the missing icon is. So, how can I reduce the location bar height in order to turn back the lines?

It's bigger in the open file dialog as well.

Hi - just to check, does the issue occur if you use the default Breeze theming (including icons)? And, does the issue occur if you use the default fonts and font sizes?

With the default font it's ok, but it was ok with the current settings for years and it's broken after the latest update. I can change the font but it affects my whole UI. There's a problem and it just have to be fixed.

What font / icon / theme settings on your device cause the issue to be consistently reproduced? I think I can temporarily reproduce by changing the size multiple times with Dolphin already open, but that then resolves itself after closing and reopening the Dolphin window.

Arial size 10 :)
I can't find the setting to change the font size anymore. Is it removed? I can change it in ~/.config/kdeglobals though.
Comment 10 John Kizer 2025-04-09 03:10:45 UTC
Font settings are in System Settings > Text & Fonts > Fonts - I believe I can reproduce the issue, even after restarting Dolphin, using the FreeSans font (looks kind of like Arial). Thanks for the info!
Comment 11 kaminata 2025-04-09 10:58:50 UTC
I mean there were fonts settings only for Dolphin but they are gone now. Anyway, thanks!

I'm sorry to hear this is happening on your system again.
I'm not able to reproduce this with Dolphin built from git-master (25.11.70) or on Fedora 42 (25.08.0)

Are you able to reproduce this when logging into a brand new user?

Actually no. I'll try to figure it out. It's interesting if I downlgrade to 25.04.3 the problem disappears.
