SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open any file on vim 
2. Font alignments break usually after symbols ,': ' in the case of the attachment provided
 

OBSERVED RESULT
some weird gibberish 

EXPECTED RESULT
correct font/text alignment

Could you also please include what font you are using in Konsole?

Are you also able to test the same characters being displayed without color highlighting (ex. perhaps just through the less or cat commands), to possibly see if it's the characters themselves or the character + color combination?

Note for future investigation, this might possibly be related somehow to the cause of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483292 ?
