I installed Davinci Resolve and the keyboard shortcuts (For example; pressing B to switch to the "cut" tool) were not working, and the menu bar was missing. After some research I figured that maybe the Global menu widget was the culprit. I disabled it, rebooted, but it was to no avail. After a lot more research I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1ISaTQFnAQ and after translating it and following the instructions, which were disabling "Application menus daemon" from "Background services" Davinci resolve worked as intended.
