Restart NeoChat OBSERVED RESULT Message is edited and updated on Matrix, I see editions in Element, but not in NeoChat EXPECTED RESULT I'd like to see changes in NeoChat after restart too. Just also saw this using 25.08.3 – when a message is edited, it appears correctly according to the edit afterwards. But after a Neochat restart, the original (un-edited) version is shown again. Thanks a lot in advance for fixing this :-)
I'm also experiencing this bug with Neochat 25.12.0. My current (bad) workaround is to enable developer tools and "show hidden events in timeline", so then the edits appear as hidden events, which can then be viewed by clicking "View Source". The edit is clearly there, but it's just not correctly being displayed by Neochat.
For future context this isn't a NeoChat bug, but a libQuotient one. Not saying this should be closed, it can be tracked here.
