Description Alex 2024-12-04 17:50:12 UTC
SUMMARY
I have the Plasma notifications plasmoid in two different panels on two different monitors. In the settings where notifications appear, I can only select "Near symbol" or a relative position at a single monitor (unclear which one).

With Plasma 5.x the notifications opened near the second panel, with Plasma 6.2 they open near the first one. But in general, there should be a setting in which one either selects "This plasmoid is relevant for the notification position" or where one can choose between screen edges of all screens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have panels on different monitors
2. Add a notifications icon to more than one panel
3. Receive a notification

OBSERVED RESULT
One cannot choose on which monitor the notification is shown.

EXPECTED RESULT
One should be able to configure the position of the notification in multi-monitor setups.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12
