SUMMARY
When locking my user account and going away for a while, when I come back, I notice my desktop icons get rearranged and go back to being to the side (seems like in alphabetical order), while I usually put two apps on the other side.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put a bunch of application icons in the desktop
2. Lock the user account
3. Go away for a while (?)
4. Unlock the user account

OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop icons get reordered

EXPECTED RESULT
Desktop icons stay where they are

This is the same behavior that was fixed in bug 468546 in 6.2.0, there may be a regression
I can't reproduce this on git-master, and have had a bunch of icons on the desktop for months.

Can you confirm the settings if you right click the desktop and go to Icons -> Sort By ? Thanks!

I swear I replied to this a few hours ago,
anyway, in there I said that my Sort By settings are in "No ordering, folders first" and that I was gonna try reproducing it again (as I'd stopped using the icons because they were broken)
I can still reproduce this, even after a bunch of formatting and starting over I did in the mean time.

I meant to reply to this earlier but, I didn't notice whatever notification I got until the bot warned me about it..

This specific one should actually be fixed in Plasma 6.3.

Do feel free to re-open it if you still experience *exactly* the same issue after upgrading to 6.3, though. Thanks!
