SUMMARY I'm using Plasma 6.2.3 on Wayland in a Fedora 41 KDE installation. Clicking on a System Tray icon the first time in a session didn't show its applet. The problem happened with the Clipboard, Audio Volume, Brightness and Color, and Networks System Tray icons. The following error was in the journal when the problem happened. plasmashell[18016]: qt.qpa.wayland: eglSwapBuffers failed with 0x300d, surface: 0x0 This issue seems to happen every time on the first click on an icon in the tray in a session, but the applets were shown normally the subsequent times I clicked on the System Tray icons in the same session. This problem might have started after I upgraded from Qt 6.7.2 to 6.8.0. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Boot a Fedora 41 KDE installation fully updated with the updates-testing repo enabled 2. Log in to Plasma 6.2.3 on Wayland 3. Click on the Clipboard icon in the System Tray OBSERVED RESULT Clicking on a System tray icon the first time in a session didn't show its applet EXPECTED RESULT Clicking on a System tray icon the first time in a session should've shown its applet SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 41 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
