Cannot reproduce with current git master; should be fixed by the fix for Bug 492436. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 492436 ***
This is still noticeable on KDE Plasma version 6.2.5. Is there a chance that something is misconfigured that causes it? I use default Breeze themes and do not tweak anything themes files (also using Kinoite so it would be a bit difficult).
Do the top corners of other Plasma pop-ups suffer the same fate? Or is it really only KRunner?

So it is all of them for you. What scale factor are you using? Does it by any chance stop happening in a new clean user account?
I have two monitors, one laptop (1920x1080 60Hz) and one external screen (2560x1440 100Hz), both are set to 100% scale. Those top corners look glitchy on both of those screens. I'll test with a completely new account in a moment and let you know.
Huh, this does not happen with clean user account. Then there is something wrong in my configuration. Ah, apologies for taking your time, I guess I need to track down where or in which file it goes wrong.
I take back my last message. It did not happen on freshly created account... but then I've switched back to my account and once again to that new account and then similar bad corners started happening. I've tested two new accounts and similar thing. Before that I tested renaming ~/.config, ~/.cache and ~/.local/share directories to something else so that KDE would recreate those anew, but nothing helped for that. I really don't know what to think about that. I'm currently waiting for 6.3 Beta on Rawhide, maybe there is some magic commit that improves this thing. It's not that important, it's hardly visible most of the time, but it's there and I wonder why it's not reproducible on other devices.
I'm on 6.2.90 and it seems fixed!
