SUMMARY Dragging icons in the Icon Only Task Manager widget causes unexpected behavior in KDE Plasma Activities. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Open KDE Plasma desktop environment. Add the "Icon Only Task Manager" widget to the panel if it is not already present. Create multiple activities and switch between them. Attempt to drag and rearrange icons within the "Icon Only Task Manager" widget. OBSERVED RESULT Icons move incorrectly or not as intended. The task manager might display incorrect or misplaced icons after dragging. The system logs contain errors related to drag operations and encoding variants. EXPECTED RESULT Icons should be draggable and rearrangeable within the "Icon Only Task Manager" widget without display issues or errors in the system logs. The task manager should correctly reflect the order of tasks based on drag-and-drop operations. Thank you for the bug report! It's a bit unclear from your description how exactly activities figure into this. Is this the same issue as bug 487462? In case it's not, there are a few other bugs related to dragging things in the task manager (including bug 491100, bug 482770 and another one I can't find right now); those were determined to require fixes in the upstream library Qt and while those have been merged, I think there is no official release that contains them yet.
