Enter Administrator mode through Right Click menu upon empty area -> "Open as Administrator" 4. Enter password... 5. Done. OBSERVED RESULT It doesn't show volume storage info as it does in Default settings, which I had. EXPECTED RESULT I must show free GiBs storage info as it does in normal mode. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.7-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Vanilla Dolphin, period. P.S. Graphical thing on video DOESN'T affect the behavior of Dolphin. Already tested it on other machine.

Possibly related to Bug #463522. In both cases an empty bar is shown.
Reply to Paul Worrall: The following bug you mentioned only affects KDE Plasma 5 version of Dolphin and does not represent current bug report in that specific way.
Starting dolphin as root is bad practice and unsupported. For root operations please use kio-admin

Otherwise please fill "Latest Commit" and "Version Fixed In" if it is fixed rather than hiding it.
Current issue it is related to kio-admin. For reproducing current bug "Administrative Actions" Context Menu must be enabled.
