With Dolphin 25.03.70 built from git master today, turning on "Show space information" in the status bar does nothing until Dolphin is restarted (well, actually it makes the zoom control move a little bit to the right)

I made that change. The space information is now only displayed when it has information to display. So the core bug reported here stays the same: The status bar space information is not correctly retrieved for you when you enable it.
