Created attachment 171697 [details] Screenshot showing cutoff notifcation popup SUMMARY I have a small auto-hidden panel in the bottom right corner of my screen that has the system tray. I have a vertical panel on the left side of my screen with Application Launcher, and Icons Only Task Manager Notification popups are cut off. I assume that they are pushed right the width of the left panel. I also experienced this running KDE Neon with KDE Plasma 6.0 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put a panel that fills the left side of the screen (Mine is 44xscreen height) 2. Put a panel that only has the system tray on the bottom of the screen 2a. Make it align right 2b. Make it fit content 3. Generate a notification popup: copy a large file, remove a panel or widget, etc OBSERVED RESULT The right side of the notification popup is off screen EXPECTED RESULT The notification popup should be entirely on screen SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can reproduce this on Wayland. Set panel at bottom, align right, then add the notification applet there (and/or system tray). Then set notification popups location to near notification icon. Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.9.9-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6600

This seems related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488538 where notifications are partially off-screen due to other causes
Is this reproducible with a single-screen setup too?
