Description ratijas 2024-06-30 20:56:51 UTC
SUMMARY
In Bedtime mode Android silences most notifications except the most important ones. IIRC the native Find My Phone feature via Google accounts works regardless of Bedtime mode; and so should KDE Connect. Is there a way to register this specific notification type as important enough to break the silence?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure your Android phone is connected to another device running KDE Connect.
2. Turn on Bedtime mode on your Android device.
3. Use the Find My Phone plugin.

OBSERVED RESULT
The notification is silenced and not displayed at all until the Bedtime mode is disabled or temporarily suspended.

EXPECTED RESULT
Find My Phone should work regardless of Android Bedtime mode

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Possible duplicate of BUG 402384, but I'm not sure if Bedtime mode is exactly the same feature as Do Not Disturb.
