SUMMARY
Crash when Sound KCM is opened for the second time.
This was already reported and closed as an upstream bug here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487655, but looks like it's not fixed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Open Sound KCM
3. Open any other KCM
4. Open Sound KCM again -> Crash

OBSERVED RESULT
Crash when Sound KCM is opened for the second time

EXPECTED RESULT
Sound KCM is correctly opened for the second time

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1
Kernel Version: 6.9.5-arch1-1 (64-bit)

RESOLVED UPSTREAM doesn't mean it's fixed, it means it's not a KDE bug.

I know it doesn't mean it's fixed. Sorry, I wasn't very precise.

The original bug links this https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtdeclarative/+/564387. It says that the fix is merged to Qt 6.7 if I understood correctly. I'm running 6.7.1 and it still crashes. Might be that the issue is not fixed in the first place or there is some other issue now.

We could investigate a bit and see what's going on.

Qt 6.7 is a git branch, not a release. The fix is not in 6.7.1 if you look at the dates.
