Description Arthur Bols 2024-06-19 21:25:57 UTC
Application: systemsettings (6.1.0)

Qt Version: 6.7.1
Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Operating System: Linux 6.9.4-200.fc40.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: "Fedora release 40 (Forty)"
DrKonqi: 6.1.0 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
Systemsettings crashes after opening sound -> switching to a different module -> sound. This does not seem to occur on other modules.

Not sure if related, but after the update to 6.1.0 the device names in the sound applet are different. However they have not changed in the settings module. For example:
HDMI / DisplayPort (GP104 High Definition ...) -> HDMI 0

The crash can be reproduced every time.

I can reproduce this in a KDE Neon VM as well so it doesn't seem specific to Fedora 40
