Ticket for collecting issues and tasks for release 5.2
Online banking support for MinGW builds depends on https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1227293 and https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1227294.
(In reply to Ralf Habacker from comment #1) > Online banking support for MinGW builds depends on > https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1227293 and > https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1227294. These issues were fixed recently. At this point, a few questions come to mind: 1. are there still crash/critical/major bugs reported by users that should be fixed in this version ? 2. are there still open merge requests (https://invent.kde.org/office/kmymoney/-/merge_requests) or features (e.g. patches in the bug tracker) that should be included in this version? 3. Is something else required for making this release ?
Alkimia 8.1.76 has been released, see https://download.kde.org/unstable/alkimia/alkimia-8.1.76.tar.xz.mirrorlist
The version 5.1.90 of kmymoney has been released at https://download.kde.org/unstable/kmymoney/8.1.90
Something must have gone wrong with the version number of the file.
Thanks for the pointer. The issue was fixed. The version 5.1.90 of kmymoney has been released at https://download.kde.org/unstable/kmymoney/5.1.90/ With this release the following issues has been fixed https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?bug_severity=critical&bug_severity=grave&bug_severity=major&bug_severity=crash&bug_severity=normal&bug_severity=minor&bug_status=RESOLVED&columnlist=component%2Cbug_status%2Cresolution%2Cshort_desc%2Cbug_severity%2Cversion%2Ccf_versionfixedin&f2=cf_versionfixedin&f3=cf_versionfixedin&j_top=OR&list_id=2966641&o2=regexp&o3=substring&product=kmymoney&query_format=advanced&v2=5%5C.1%5C.%5B4-9%5D&v3=5.2 and probably a few more that are not listed in this bug tracker.
At https://community.kde.org/ReleasingSoftware The translator team offers as an option: > You can also branch after you have created a tar by using the branchme.rb script from releaseme. Unless there are important reasons not to, this is the plan. The page also says > Before a release, you'll need to give translators a notification about the upcoming new version. Then write an email to the translators about a month before the release Since there are currently still a few necessary adjustments to the UI regarding reports, this is planned for the beginning of January 2025.
The current status of the translations will be available at https://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/trunk-kf5/package/kmymoney/ once the certificate problem reported on https://phabricator.kde.org/T17832 has been resolved.
And here https://l10n.kde.org/stats/doc/trunk-kf5/package/kmymoney/ is the current status of the translations of the manual.
(In reply to Ralf Habacker from comment #9) > And here https://l10n.kde.org/stats/doc/trunk-kf5/package/kmymoney/ is the > current status of the translations of the manual. The completed translations of the handbook for the Central European languages are currently less than 50%.
The version 5.1.95 of kmymoney (5.2-rc5) has been released at https://download.kde.org/unstable/kmymoney/5.1.95/
