SUMMARY Wayland: Can't change on which screen desktop notifications show up in multi-screen environment. Currently they are showing only on most right screen (which is TV behind). If I remember correctly previously/on X11 they appear on active screen (where the mouse/active window), currently they always show on most right screen for me. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Execute `notify-send "test"` OBSERVED RESULT Notification showing on a most right screen (in my case it's a TV behind me dedicated for watching media). EXPECTED RESULT Notification showing on active screen (where the mouse pointer/active window is?) or primary / selected in settings. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.2 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I see I can change the position on the screen of the notification so I can set it to be centered, but not the screen so it will still be centered on most right screen for me.
Notifications appear next to the Notifications widget, one of which is in the system tray. So notifications will always appear on the screen with that widget on it. The ability to manually choose its screen (not just its position on that screen) hasn't been implemented yet, per Bug 446961 which it looks like you've already found. Marking as a duplicate of it, since the current behavior you're seeing is intentional. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 446961 ***

But thanks to your answer I think I found a "workaround", as I can leave the tray icons there, but I can disable only the notification widget in icon settings, only leaving the notification icon on one screen.
