See screenshot. I have encountered another one like this in another situation, but this appeared when Kajongg was unable to start (it says copy to clipboard on the button).

Closing this bug because product, component, version are wrong. I can fix product and component but I cannot guess the version you have used.

Please re-open a new bug report with correct values.

Also, can you please translate all text in the attachment to English? Does the bug also happen with language English?
Comment 2 Emir SARI 2024-04-23 19:50:33 UTC
It’s with KDE neon Unstable, latest git master.

There is no reason to close this one as RESOLVED NOT A BUG, since it is obviously a layout error. Have you ruled out, that the code is correct?

No, I am unable to translate it, since the Discover error is not reproducible anymore. Reopening, since there is no reason to open the exact same bug report.
Comment 3 Wolfgang Rohdewald 2024-04-23 19:58:42 UTC
This may be a real bug. But not with the Product "Discover". The Product is "kajongg". The Component will be "General".

Please fix your bug report.

Also, I do not understand whatever language you used. I even do not know which language that is. Without knowing the error message and with no way to reproduce the bug, what do you expect me to do?

Please only reopen if you have further information.

You are confidently incorrect.

The product is Discover, and this is a dialogue within libdiscover, so please stop making stuff up. If you want to help fixing it, you can check out DiscoverWindow.qml file, as it originates there.

What it says on the error message is irrelevant, because it is a layout bug, and as it is evident that the button is clipped and there is no padding whatsoever.

The error message comes from libdiscover, but the dialogue belongs to Discover itself.

screenshot of Discover 6.1.3 on Arch Linux

Can reproduce on Arch Linux.

1. run "sudo pacman -Syu" when updates are available, but do not install anything
2. open Discover while pacman is waiting for an answer to install or not the available updates

Result: Discover shows the warning with broken layout seen in the screenshot attached to this comment.

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
