On Powerdevil, set to dim automatically after a certain time (e.g. 1 minute) 2. Set the monitor to sleep after a certain time (e.g. 2 minutes) 2. Set external monitor to any brightness on either the powerdevil settings or on your hardware 3. Close the settings panel 4. Wait until time to dim is reached 5.
