SUMMARY The Application Dashboard's "Favourites" section cannot be reordered, unlike in the Application Launcher. This functionality worked as expected up to at least Plasma 5.27.10. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Application Dashboard. 2. Dragging Favourites will not re-order them, they have to be re-ordered from alternatives. OBSERVED RESULT Dragging applications in the "Favourites" section of the Application Dashboard will not re-order them, it simply gives them a "pressed" effect. EXPECTED RESULT Dragging applications in the "Favourites" section of the Application Dashboard would re-order them, consistent with other launchers as well as the behaviour in prior versions of Plasma. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.7.8 Linux Zen KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am aware that the Application Dashboard is unfortunately not as maintained as other launchers and from what I recall is in need of a rewrite to properly fix a lot of issues. Nevertheless, I hope while it still ships in Plasma, issues are at least accepted.
Can confirm. Issues are indeed accepted, but are given lower priority I'm afraid.

I can reproduce with 6.1.3, but not with 6.1.80. This should be fixed with the upcoming Plasma 6.2.0 release.
