Demonstration of cursor not moving with tablet in overview

When using drawing tablet in overview mode (meta+w) the touchpad cursor on laptop can be used but the drawing tablet cursor does not move

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable overview in desktop effects
2. Press meta+w
3. Try to use the drawing tablet cursor

OBSERVED RESULT
The cursor cannot be moved by drawing tablet

EXPECTED RESULT
Should be able to select desktops and move cursors etc with drawing tablet
