Created attachment 166097 [details] Screenrecording SUMMARY When having a panel pinned open but no other windows, then the applet has a (intentional) gap to the panel. When maximizing a window now, the panel moves to the bottom and extends rather smoothly, however the applet tends to do a straight to the left, straight down movement, which looks very choppy. Sometimes even a little gap remains. Please see the screen recording. I've noticed that the gap, which sometimes remain, closes as soon as you move the cursor again after having clicked on the entry in the icon only task manager.
I cannot reproduce, the applet always closes when I minimize or maximize another program. Doug, you need to pin the applet!
Sorry, I just noted the "pinned" qualifier. Yes, I can reproduce. Sometimes the animation is taking a full second or so to complete, as well.
