SUMMARY Autostarted apps come up before the network is connected. This puts them in a retrying state or they just show error. When they are retrying (2 messaging apps, 2 browsers, etc) it consumes system resources and makes startup even slower. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set Google Chrome to autostart 2. Restart OBSERVED RESULT Chrome starts up and restores all the tabs but the tabs fail to reload as the network is not connected. EXPECTED RESULT Chrome start after the network is up so the tabs can get loaded. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.113.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 Kernel Version: 6.7.0-0-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Product Name: MS-7B18 System Version: 1.0
Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 5.20.0 is no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer. Please upgrade to a supported version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need support for Plasma 5.20.0, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older releases that are no longer supported by KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to a supported version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
Manjaro has updated to 5.27.10. I still see no improvement on this subject.
