When I add programs such as discord or steam to autostart I have to wait for a network failure before the application can run as it should. This seems to be due to things in the autostart list taking priority over whatever systemd does to bring up the network. Obviously this may be desirable in some situations and not others. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add discord to the autostart list in systemsettings. 2. Reboot. 3. Despair for a few seconds while discord fails to connect. OBSERVED RESULT A network error followed by a countdown to reconnect is shown. EXPECTED RESULT Discord should load and auto login as specified within the software. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma 5.26.5 QT 5.15.8 Graphics Platform X11 Other thoughts: I think adding advanced options to autostart that allow you to specify sleep timers, waiting for the network, etc could be extremely useful. Additionally, the ability to set the order of launch for autostart applications might be useful in some situations. Currently they load in alphabetical order by default.
Seems sensible to me.
