SUMMARY In latest today's Dolphin deleted files are not moved to Trash. Instead nothing is done. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I downloaded today latest Dolphin version from I downloaded latest https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Dolphin_Release_win64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/dolphin-23.08.4-2159-windows-cl-msvc2019-x86_64.exe 2. Mark some file, right click on it and select Move to Trash. And problem appears!!! File does disappear from list indicating it is deleted, but if I press F5 the file is still listed and no file is deleted in Recycle Bin. This is significant lack of functionality. I marked bug as "major", because I delete like 100 files or more in one single day, lacking delete to trash is significant problem. OBSERVED RESULT Deleting file (Move to Trash) looks like file is deleted (moved to Recycle Bin), but it is not. EXPECTED RESULT File should be moved to Recycle Bin. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.114.0
Now have searched for existing bug reports. Sorry, I haven't done previously because I haven't expected such a major issue was reported. I see the users from the following bugs have reported having the same issue: - bug 441218 - bug 453431 - bug 457232 - bug 463487 - bug 474484 and it looks bug is very old one, the oldest report I see is from year 2021.
