STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Settings/Themes/Default

OBSERVED RESULT
Icons and text are dark

EXPECTED RESULT
Icons and text should be on a grey background?

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

macOS: Ventura 13.6
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.106.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This may have been caused by an inadvertent key combination but I don't know what I did :-(
Switching to different themes will give me visible text and icons but I rather preferred the default.
I've tried using White Balance but that gives me the same issue.
Tried switching icon theme in preferences/miscellaneous/appearance but no difference

This could be a duplicate of Bug 472083.
Please try to use the Breeze widget style in the digiKam settings under Miscellaneous->Appearance.

Thanks Maik

Setting that and Icons to Breeze seems to have done the trick. Looking better now.

Hi Gilles

I'm not sure how to reproduce it. I can do so by manually going in to the
icon settings but I didn't do that to cause the original issue. I must have
done some kind of keyboard combination but I don't know what - sorry.

Best

Leon
